RECOMMENDATION Oakland Housing Authority 12/7/2011:
I am writing to recommend the services of Deborah Temple, of Obasi Children Youth and Family Services. We here at the Oakland Housing Authority have had the pleasure of having Ms. Temple provide the foundation to our week long workshop series for participants that were seeking employment. Ms. Temple conducted the first of the workshop series, with an emphasis on “Soft skills” Ms. Temple approached the subject matter from various forms immediately connecting with the participants and creating an atmosphere of trust and understanding.
It was obvious within minutes of meeting her that Ms. Temple has a true passion for helping people from various walks of life. She has so much skill and ability her capacity and understanding is infinite. Our participants were so engaged in her presentation in a 2 hour period she was able to establish a solid rapport with the participants. They walked away with a renewed sense of self and empowerment.
Ms. Temple was able to provide our participants with encouragement, knowledge about how to deal with the troubled economy, and motivation to press pass difficult or bleak situations. She has an innate ability to speak to the soul, Ms. Temple is a dynamic powerful presenter and we feel confident in recommending Obasi Children Youth and Family Services. We hope to be able to do business with her again in the near future. We were very pleased with the services she provided to our agency and participants.
